5 Benefits of Using Autoresponders

Autoresponders can help save you time and money by automating a multitude of tasks for you. Quite often I am asked by prospects and clients alike, why use autoresponders? Here are just five examples of autoresponder benefits you can receive when you use autoresponders in your business.
1.Automatically reply to email. Having an autoresponder set up on your email account can automatically respond to every email with a message informing the sender you have received their email and will reply shortly.
2.Delivering Information. Autoresponders can be set up to respond to a particular request for information sent to a particular email address. For example, you may have an email address set to respond to requests for a particular product line and the autoresponder would immediately reply to the sender with the precise information requested. The same would hold true if you had a specified email address to contact for your price list, class schedule, and so on. It is a wonderfully cost effective way of quickly delivering information 24/7.
3.Delivering Email Courses. When someone signs up for or purchases a course you offer, you can set an autoresponder to deliver the course automatically and at specified intervals if necessary. In other words, you can design your autoresponder to send lesson one immediately, then lesson two the next day, followed by lesson three on the third day, etc.It can be used to send email course modules. For example, if you have a three week course, with course information or documents to be sent to your students once a week, you can simply request your students to send their addresses to your autoresponder. The autoresponder will then reply to your students with the course package at the scheduled times.
4.Subscriptions. Ezines (on line newsletters) are another way in which autoresponders can be a real time saver. You can set the initial subscriber request to receive the current ezine and then each subsequent issue will automatically be sent to them as well.
5.Increase sales. You may wish to offer a free sample of one of your products or services when someone requests the sample through a specific email address. The autoresponder then sends the sample to the customers along with a message offering the customer the opportunity sign up for the full service or purchase the product line. He/she is also able to decide whether or not to accept or remain a subscrier. If the product or service proves to be particularly beneficial the autoresponder can be an effective sales gimmick to draw the customer to buy that product or service. Many professionals use this method to send free samples of a course or book they offer. After sending a few lessons or chapters, the customer then is presented with the opportunity to purchase the entire product and in many cases, the customer does just that.
These five benefits for using autoresponders are just a few of the many ways autoresponders can help save you time and money as well as assist you in delivering higher quality service to your customers.
