Using EFT- Emotional Freedom Techniques

So far, I haven't found anything that MTT including using EFT has not been able to help.

Emotional Freedom Techniques, also known as EFT, is a marvelous tool that can be used to effectively remove self-limiting beliefs, fears, stress, anxiety, blocks, and a host of negative feelings we may have. The cause of all negative emotions is due to a disruption in our body's energy system. By using Meridian Tapping Techniques, you may re-align and balance the body's energy system, enabling you to enjoy a higher quality of life. View some of my EFT Coaching services.

The information below gives a brief overview of the basic recipe of using EFT along with general information on set up phrases and reminder phrases used with EFT. Refer to the graphic below to the left to see many of the EFT Tapping Points used with using EFT.

USING EFT - USING EFT BASIC RECIPE

Karate Chop Point - located on the side of your hand at the base of your little finger and along down toward the wrist. It is roughly in line with your life line. This is the fleshy part of the outside of your palm. Tap while stating set up phrase three times.
Eyebrow Point - Located at the start Of The Eyebrow where the bone behind your eyebrow turns into the bridge of your nose.
Side of The Eye - On the boney orbit of the eye on the outside corner of your eye.
Under The Eye - On the bone just below your eye, in line with your pupil if you look straight ahead.
Under The Nose - Between you nose and your upper lip.
Under The Mouth - In the indentation between your chin and your lower lip.
Collarbone - In the angle formed by your collarbone and the breastbone. I invite you to make a fist and tap where you would see the knot of a gentleman's necktie.
Under Arm - Located approximately four inches down from the armpit in line with a man's nipples on the side of the body and in the middle of the strap of a ladies bra.

The first step in using EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques, is to identify the issue you wish to resolve. Once identified, incorporate this issue into your set up phrase which you will state while tapping on the karate chop point. Next, take an intensity rating of the issue ranging from 0 to 10 with 0 being no effects at all and 10 being the most intensely uncomfortable feeing imaginable.

State your set up phrase three times while tapping the karate chop point on one of your hands with the finger tips of the other hand. A sample set up phrase is listed below.

Even though I feel inadequate about seeking this promotion, I totally and completely accept myself.

The next step is to tap on the remaining eight meridian acupressure points while stating a reminder phrase surrounding your issue such as:

I doubt my ability to manage the promotion, or I feel inadequate about being promoted,

After tapping all eight points, reassess the intensity rating of the issue. If you have a rating of anything above 0, repeat the process.

Even though I still have some remaining doubts and fears about this promotion, I totally and completely accept myself.

This time, use different reminder phrases - inserting positive phrases to replace the negative feelings you desire to remove. Examples of this type of reminder phrases are shown below:

I deserve and desire this promotion, I am fully capable of handling more responsibility, I have the ability to do a wonderful job in this new position and I am the perfect candidate for this promotion
and so on.
